Tootsie Roll Rolling Pin
This style of rolling pin is derived from a Turkish one I saw once. It’s one of my most popular varities! The handles are more familiar to many users. I find they are easy to use because you can roll your open palm down the taper and get a lot of leverage and finesse. These pins are made from a combination of local hardwoods like Walnut, Ash, Cherry and Curly Maple, often with some Sapele thrown in. Wood arrangement and selection may differ slightly from the image.
