This is a heavy duty Shaker Style rolling pin made from beautiful Spalted Walnut. It’s plenty large enough for the most serious kitchen tasks while still being delicate and sensitive in the hands. This wood is no joke! Spalted walnut is rather unusual, but I was able to capture this unique effect created by the early stages of fungal growth by carefully controlling moisture before fully drying the wood.
