Hand Forged Small Nakiri Chef's Knife
This knife was forged by hand in a forge I built myself from high carbon 80CRV2 steel. Nakiri are versatile kitchen knives, used especially for vegetables. Big enough for most tasks but good for more delicate work with a thin blade that makes cutting effortless. The handle is spalted birch. High carbon steels like this are the preferred by most serious chef’s though they do need a little more attention than does stainless. After use, they should be washed and dried so they don’t rust. Care instructions are included.
1.75x5” blade, 10” overall
