Hand Forged Nakiri Chef's Knife
This is a nice large Nakiri style chef’s knife hand forged from high carbon steel. It has a spalted hickory handle which is ergonomic and beautiful as well. The blade is forged quite thin, with long flat bevels and a razor sharp edge. This knife is ideal for vegetables, but can handle most tasks around the kitchen. This blade is not stainless steel, but high carbon steel which will take on a lovely patina with use. It will hold a great edge while still being easy to sharpen. It needs just a little more care than mass produced stainless knives, and care instructions are included.
