Hand Forged Kitchen Knife
A heavy duty knife hand forged from high carbon steel. A good general purpose knife, though this “Deba” is typically used for cutting fish in Japanese cooking. This durable steel will hold an edge for a long time, but is also easy to sharpen. This is not stainless steel, so over time it will develop a rich patina, but some additional care is needed to prevent rust from developing. The partial tang of the knife extends deep within the maple and walnut handle to provide strength and even weight distribution.
