Dark Cherry Eating Spoon

This is a nice bit of cherry harvested from a tree that fell in a storm just a few hundred feet from where I sit writing this. It was carved using a variety of hand tools I made myself. The wood has a bit of extra interest with darker colors that are the result of a bit of age. I like the way this broader handle feels when holding it.
