Curly Maple Pepper Mill with Spalting

This mill is turned from a really exceptional piece of spalted maple! My friend worked at the local sawmill and after cutting a beautiful maple tree in to slabs, he saved me some off cuts. This piece has lovely curly figure, and just a bit of spalting. It’s an eye catching, functional sculpture for the kitchen or table. It will last a lifetime with a high quality, adjustable ceramic grinding mechanism.
