My book is here! My goal was to create the shortest and easiest path to becoming proficient on the lathe. I explain the basics of how to get set up, how to find and prepare material and how to use tools. I get in to depth on tool usage and really emphasize images that show the way the tool contacts the wood for safe and efficient cutting. Too sharpening is an essential component of woodturning too, so we explore simple and inexpensive methods that will lead to sharp edges consistently.
