Big Bottomed Sycamore Skaal

This skaal, or “earred bowl”, is turned from some beautifully spalted sycamore. The handle is a part of the body of the cup which is left in place during turning then carved back by hand. The handle fits comfortably in your hand for a relaxing sippy sip. This closed pored wood is also sealed well with food safe hardwax oil and is impenetrable by liquids. You’ll find it a pleasure to use for your morning coffee and your evening bourbon!
